SquareUp slowing down whole website

  • Hey guys, I’m struggling a bit. Response of paymentform (js.squareup.com) is pretty crap. it takes even 1.2s! That’s affecting whole website. Any chance to sort this? Also this js is loading at the beginning, how to move it to the bottom so it won’t affect the page loading time?

    Oh dear, how frustrating!

    Are you able to test this with only the Square extension and the main WooCommerce plugin active with a default theme?

    Also this js is loading at the beginning, how to move it to the bottom so it won’t affect the page loading time?

    Absolutely possible with some custom code but changing the load order may negatively affect the site so as custom code like this falls outside our support policy, I’d recommend asking a WooCommerce experienced developer for help.

    As this is a fairly complex development topic so I’m going to leave it open for a bit to see if anyone is able to chime in to help you out.
