Allow access versus content permissions

    Hi,

    My goal is to make certain downloads only available to users with specific (custom) user roles. However, There seem to be two places where I can set the rules: ‘Allow access’ and ‘Content permissions’.

    What is the exact difference between those two options, and which one would suit my needs best?
