Help! I turned on topbar – but despite it showing up I can’t figure out how to disable it as the plugin for this add-on isn’t even showing up.

I don’t see top-bar on your site anymore. Maybe you removed it but you still saw an older cached version of your site? Try to https://refreshyourcache.com

If our plugin is still installed you can deactivate the whole plugin under Plugins > Installed Plugins, the name is “MC4WP: Mailchimp Top Bar”

Hope that helps. If you have any questions, please let us know!

Thanks. The plugin is not installed but it is displaying on both my staging and live websites even after clearing my cache multiple times and trying multiple browsers. Is there some other place the code is living that I need to remove?

I do not see it on the link you shared… that’s strange!

I have cleared my cache as many times as possible. Still displaying, no way to turn it off. voiceofoc.org How else can I check to make sure I don’t need to remove it in some way?

Can you try in another browser?
Can you show me a full screen screenshot where we can see the topbar?
Can you confirm that it’s on the URL you shared in your opening post?

    Thanks!

I’ve tried in Safari (desktop) Safari (iPhone) and Chrome (desktop).

I’ve cleared the cache through a force on WordPress numerous times and also cleared the browser history (full) on all browsers I’ve tried.

Thanks for thee screenshots. I do not see the topbar plugin in those screenshots. The subscribe button in that screenshot is not from us / not from the top-bar plugin. Seems like a MailChimp embedded form.

Please note we are not affiliated with MailChimp.com. We are a different company “ibericode” that develops plugins such as “MailChimp for WordPress”. I’m sorry to tell you I am not able to help you with this question as it is not related to our plugin. My advice to you is to contact MailChimp.com as they would be the best people to answer any query related to your MailChimp.com account.

You can contact MailChimp.com trough https://mailchimp.com/contact/support/

I hope that helps. If you have any queries specific to our plugin please let us know!
