    Hello Support Team,

    I have set cut-off time “Cart abandoned cut-off time” to 1 second to capture immediately on the same. But the issue is when we add the product to the cart and close the window and again open the window and load the cart or checkout page (with not placing the order), It again sends the notification email to a user after X (20min) time on the same.

    Will there anyway if the email sent to that user now then it will not send until the next week for the same user?

    It means:
    “don’t send another email to the same customer for a week after the first week has been sent”

    I hope to have your support for this thing on the same.

    need this urgently too to stop spam carts from same user

    Hello Support Team,

    We are waiting to have the correct solution for spam carts for the same user. If the user will again come to the site and checkout page and product will already there, then it is again sent the abandoned email (if user comes 5 times in site then 5 emails it is sending which feels spam for the users). We should only send the email for a once for the same user, Next email should send after 1 week.

    Could you please let us know about our query/solution for the same?

    Can you please let us know how did you set “Cart abandoned cut-off time” to 1 second and “Send this email” to 20 minutes?

    In our Abandoned Cart Lite plugin, we allow setting up the “Cart abandoned cut-off time” minimum from 1 minute and “Send this email” from 1 hour. We do not send the same email templates repetitively to the customers for their abandoned carts. But if you again abandon a new cart in the incognito window then the reminder email will start sending again for the new abandoned cart.

    Thanks for your reply!

    Regarding for that cut-off time we have set it using going into the plugin file and add custom time on the same for testing purposes.

    And thanks for letting us know about “We do not send the same email templates repetitively to the customers for their abandoned carts. But if you again abandon a new cart in the incognito window then the reminder email will start sending again for the new abandoned cart.”

    We have asked you because we face this issue for the same. We will check it again and let you know if have any same issue face for the same.
