home page looks bad

I don’t know if this happens to all the sites, but every post I add goes on the homepage. I wanted the homepage just that the posts I add should be under a category only. The way it’s coming out now all the pages I add are in two places. On the homepage and under the blog or category heading. How can I change this ?

You’ll have to go into your settings menu and change the static page to home page and specify which page you want your comments/blog on

portfood – What you are describing is the default action of a blog. Yes, when you make a new post, it is automatically added to the front page.
