I have several events that I created that aren’t showing in the calendar (I have many that do show, just a handful that don’t). I realized the one thing the ones not showing have in common is they don’t have a location set. So I went into one and made up a fake location and published, now that one shows in the calendar. Not all of our events have locations, though, so I need the ability for them to still show in the calendar. Is there a workaround for this?

    Thanks

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    Hello Moonbeam,

I’m a newbie but here’s my understanding. In order to publish into frontend view (as compared with just save), events must have a Location. What I have done is create a location called: “_Location To Be Determined”. Perhaps your location will indicate that there is none or that it’s done online.

Leading with a character alphabetizes this location to be the top of the list and default. Then when the event leader knows the location, they choose the appropriate one.

I’ve done a similar thing for Author, by creating a user named: “_Leader To Be Determined”.

    Hope this helps,
    ~April
