Arrow spins an extra 1 minute after Submit (after Email Sent & GSheets Filled)
-
Hi,
I’m using CF7 Google Sheets Connector, and did several experiments:a) When not connected to Google Sheets (Google Sheet Name & Tab Name are empty), it only took 3 seconds after clicking Submit until the new entry is filled in Google Sheets & “submitted” notification appears in the form (both happens almost simultaneously).
b) When connected to an almost empty Google Sheets, it took 6 seconds
c) When the Sheet already has 1200 Rows filled (the new submission will fill the 1201th row), it took 10 seconds
d) When the Sheet has many Tabs, and inter-linking formulas, and > 1000 Rows filled, it took 12 seconds until the new entry is filled into the Sheet, plus an extra 50 seconds of arrow spinning before the spinning stops & the “submitted” notification appears.
My questions:
1) Why does the “size” of the Google Sheet affect the speed of form submission?
2) Why is there an extra 50 second (or sometimes longer) of arrow spinning when all tasks are already done (both Email sent and GSheets filled).
The long delay gives uncertainty to the users, resulting in them clicking the submit button repeatedly.
