I’m trying to create a welcome email, but the only content blocks that drag and drop into the “Add a column block here” box are “Posts” and “Automatic Latest Content. I can’t add text, dividers, files, images, or any of the other blocks. Other blocks drag, but don’t drop.

(I created a post notification email newsletter with the Automatic Latest Content block and that’s working fine, although I can’t add a header, footer, or anything else to it.)

(I’m using the latest version of everything, except still on the Twenty Sixteen theme.)

    Help?!

OK, I found out that if I add a post first, I can then go back and add other blocks. But when I add the Automatic Latest Content block (for the post notification email), I can’t put the footer (with unsubscribe) at the end; I can only add that before the posts. Is that how it’s supposed to work?

    Hi @sherorpen,

That’s because when you see “Add a column block here”, it means you need to add a column block to the newsletter editor and only after that you’ll be able to add the other widgets like Text, Image, etc.

Please refer to this article: Editing Columns in MailPoet

    Thank you!

Got it and that worked. Thanks!
