I am working with a booking theme (themeenergy) and Yoast is not recognising the text in the location and accommodation pages.
Do you have any idea what to do?

@astrid70 Some page builder plugins are not able to share the content created in them with the readability analysis feature of Yoast SEO. The SEO and readability analysis feature scan sometimes not work correctly if you are using some kind of visual page builder, as they can cause the page’s content to not be accessible to the plugin due to it being created outside the functions of the standard WordPress page editor. If this is the case the only workaround to this currently is to create the content from within the standard WordPress editor.

@lbklj Please create a new issue if you are experiencing a similar problem as this helps us in tracking as this can be caused by many different variables (WordPress version, other plugins, etc).

    @devnihil, Thanks for your reply.
I have some pages with WPBakery and those work well with Yoast. The other pages are with content from WP I guess.
They are under the column “extra information and are divided in tabs like general, gallery and content.
Is there a way to solve this problem? I was thinking of buying the premium version of Yoast but if it doesn’t work with these pages then I won’t bother to buy the premium…

@Ibklj, Thanks, I tried it but it doesn’t help me, unfortunately.

Can you provide a page that highlights the issues with Yoast? Can you let us know what sections of the page are not getting scanned? This will help us to know if the issue is with Yoast or the pagebuilder/text fields in use.

    Hi,
    Camping San Benedetto
On every page, Yoast is saying: “Text length: The text contains 0 words. This is far below the recommended minimum of 300 words. Add more content.” Even if there is text.

My website is built with the theme book your travel

I don’t know how I can show you more about the problem, I wish to buy the premium version of Yoast but not if I can’t solve this problem. I hope you can help me.
    Thanks!

    Hi,

The issue is most likely related to the WPBakery According modules you are using on https://verdalaholidays.com/destinations/italy/lake-garda/camping-san-benedetto/.

Yoast requires a specific line of code in order to tap into those different modules. We are not familiar with WPBakery so we cannot say if it has this line of code.

We suggest contacting the plugin’s/theme’s authors and asking them if they have included the right code in all the modules for Yoast to scan.?This guide explains more and includes links to the code they need to have:?https://kb.yoast.com/kb/is-the-plugin-compatible-with-xyz-visual-page-builder/.

In the meantime, please know that even though Yoast is showing warnings as long as you know you have added the right content like internal links, images, etc., so will Google. Google will still be able to scan the source code of the page.
