Security of protected pages

Hi,
I use this plugin, and I′m very happy with it. I think the user interface is very intuitive. I wan to use the plugin to lock down some information on some of my pages that should only be viewable to specific user groups. I would like to ask if the pages are protected in a secure way, so a hacker not easily can view the data with the inspect function of Google Chrome or other simple methods?
