Certain files play but don’t download

    The MP3 on the above post plays just fine, but when we click on the download button, the resulting file is something like 7 bytes in size and contains just a short string of text – it’s not an MP3.

    This seems to be the case for any of the links hosted directly at libsyn.com.

    On other pages of this site, where the link is passed through another service (chtbl.com), the downloads work. Example here: https://www.debraprinzing.com/2019/11/06/episode-426-ponderosa-plus-our-state-focus-tennessee/

    The people at libsyn say that everything is fine since the track plays. That something related to the downloader is causing the problem.

    To me it looks like the download is pulling some kind of wrapper or pointer file rather than the actual mp3.

    Any ideas?
