This seems like a WordPress issue.
Plugin updates are fully processed by the WordPress core, in case you do not use any other tool to execute them.
To update the plugin, you can try uninstalling and reinstalling it or updating it manually using FTP.
To update the plugin manually, follow these steps:
- Download the new version of the plugin by clicking the “Download” button (sample screenshot) from the section on the official website: https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/conversation-watson/
- Unzip the downloaded archive
- Open the wp-content\plugins folder on the server. Make sure that the names of the plugin folder on the server and the folders in the plugin archive on your computer match
- Upload the new plugin folder to the wp-content\plugins directory and confirm file replacement
