• I have a WordPress.com blog that I’ve installed in a 1and1.com website. It’s at https://otherjones.com/otherjones/
    (I’ll eventually move it into https://otherjones.com/ )
Problem: My client and I have a custom header we’d like to install to replace the current one. That was easy enough to do on
    https://otherjones.wordpress.com/
as that’s a stand-alone WordPress.com blog, but the blog that I’ve installed inside the 1and1.com website doesn’t appear to have the capability to add home-made headers.
I tried the suggestion of placing the header file in “images,” going to header.php and writing in the header name. Doesn’t work.
    Any other ideas?

Update: Can I do it through the Appearance:Editor? I’ve got the header graphic on the site. There any sort of guide as to how to direct the blog to use the graphic as the header?

    Thanks!
Good video if I want to alter or adjust a heading, but as I neither have the Photoshop program and as I do have the custom header (A JPG file), can I overwrite one of the Kubrick files? Would that work?
I tried replacing what I thought was the header file with the otherjones_banner.jpg and it repeated the image all over the main section.
