My tab filters aren’t working. I think the embed code may be missing something to allow the tabs to work. Any insight is appreciated.

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

It looks like the tabs are working but with an empty content area, as the intended content is not appearing within each tab’s content area and is being output after the tabgroup. This kind of issue can occur when the content is generated on the page by javascript.

What are the exact shortcodes used on the page?

These are some of the shortcodes I’m using along with the embed code.

    [tabby title=”All”]

    [tabby title=”Afro-Cuban”]

    [tabby title=”Ballet”]

    [tabby title=”Big Band”]

    [tabby title=”Blues”]

    <gigwell-embedded-roster agency=”4505″ settings=”MFg6GGrb” tags=”All,Afro-Cuban,Ballet,Big%20Band,Blues,Brazilian,Classical,Disco,Electronic,Folk,Funk,Jazz,Latin,New%20Age,Pop,Rock,R%26amp%3BB,Singer%2FSongwriter,World”></gigwell-embedded-roster><script type=”text/javascript” src=”//connect.gigwell.com/roster/loader.js” crossorigin=”*”></script>

What is the gigwell embedded thing doing? Is that code used by a specific WordPress plugin?

    Thread Starter simplycharly

    (@simplycharly)

That embeds our roster below the tabs. That’s how we filter our artists by genre.

It’s not a plugin but rather an embed code.

I guess you’re just as stumped as I am.

Is there a [tabbyending] shortcode on the page? What content is supposed to be shown in each tab’s content and how is it added in the editor?

    Thread Starter simplycharly

    (@simplycharly)

This is how the page is supposed to look https://intouchent.com/artists/. It’s just that the tabs aren’t filtering our artists by genre like it did this morning.

    1) Is there a [tabbyending] shortcode on the page? YES

    2) This is what the editor looks like toward the end as I showed you the top previously. https://www.screencast.com/t/xKGRBbgkqo7T

What content is supposed to be shown in each tab’s content? I can only see non breaking spaces

    Thread Starter simplycharly

    (@simplycharly)

I don’t follow you. There is no content. This is how the shortcode that I had previously that worked.

The plugin is designed to provide a set of tabs with content associated with each tab which is shown when that tab is selected. As far as I can see it is doing what it is designed to do – the active tab changes and the content (a non-breaking space) associated with that tab is shown.

Any use other than that – eg filtering of content pulled in from elsewhere and displayed outside of the tabs is not within the scope of the support I can provide.

I will get my developer to fix it. He installed it and figured out how to do it. Thanks anyway.
