    Hello!
Love the theme and thanks in advance for your help!

    I have a few questions:

    1. Regarding featured images- is there a way to remove the featured images option on specific pages? For example, I don’t want a featured image on my “Contact” page. Also, is it possible to resize featured images?

    2. Is there a way to hide the footer showing on the bottom of the website, which includes “recent pages, recent comments, recent categories, etc”? It’s taking up valuable space.

    3. On my right sidebar, I’m using a widget for the “search” option. Instead of the word “search” in the grey box, can I change the word to “go” so that it doesn’t get cut off in desktop mode as it currently does?

I’m not sure if I’m explaining clearly enough. Thank you for your time!

@ambitiousdelicious Thanks for the kind words, we appreciate it!

Just delete the feature image from the page and it won’t show up on the top of the page. Also, more information on the global setting for page headers here: https://help.lyrathemes.com/article/100-page-options

    Regarding resizing featured images: https://help.lyrathemes.com/article/334-how-to-change-featured-image-size

Yes, of course! Just remove all the widgets from the footer area and it should go away. If it is still showing up, please make sure example content is turned off: https://help.lyrathemes.com/article/81-example-content

This would require a slight change to a file or some JavaScript to force the change of text.

Thank you for your help! Turning off “example content” actually helped me with issue number 1 and 2 almost instantly.

So sorry to bother you again but now that the example content is turned off, the front page slider is gone, despite having published a bunch of “placeholder” posts. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you!

    Hi,

In Appearance > Customize > Front Page > Banner/Slider you have to choose the posts slider and make sure that your posts have a featured image.
