    Hi,
I have my frontpage made of several albums into an ‘albumsview’ gallery. All is working great and beautiful.
Since apparently ‘albumsview’ cannot play videos, I’ve been trying to add one more item (album) to this ‘albumsview’ gallery and I want this album to redirect the visitor to another gallery (realslider) where I can show some videos.
I’ve been trying several ways, but without success.
Please let me know how I can either play videos in ‘albumsview’ or link one ‘albumsview’ album to another ‘realslider’ gallery.
Some videos are loaded locally and larger ones will be hosted on Youtube.

    Thanks for your help

    PS
FYI, if I create an album and put it in a ‘realslider’ gallery, the ‘Gmedia Post URL’ only shows thumbnails and the ‘GmediaCloud page URL’ shows the correct slider gallery, but no matter how I try to point to these URLs, I get a blank page.
However, when I edit and check the gallery preview, it displays the ‘Realslider’ gallery correctly.

Not sure if this is connected, but I have also checked some other forum posts and made sure that my theme (SohoPRO) has the wp_footer codes at the end of footer.php file.

Albumsview can play videos from YouTube and Vimeo (just add video link to image’s Link field).

Unfortunately, there is no way to link album in module to external page.

Can you send me link to the RealSlider module gallery. Perhaps, there is plugins CSS or JS conflict.

Are you talking about adding a link to a youtube video in the ‘Link URL’ field of an image?
If so, this is far too complicated, I don’t think any visitor will ever get this.

Btw, as you recommended me in the other thread, I am now using albumview2 instead of albumview.

If I cannot link an album (menu item on my frontpage gallery) to a gallery, then is there a way I can click on one of the album on my frontpage and get directly to a simple page where a video could play?
This is the realslider gallery link: https://cybercisco.photo/gmedia-gallery/gmedia-gallery-themes/

    Thanks

That is not complicated. Just copy YouTube video url in the browser and save it to the Gmedia’s Image Link field in the admin. Then when visitor click on image in the gallery video opens in the lightbox.

You can add gallery or album links to your menu or add link to some image or text in your Post/Page. Also you can add shortcodes of galleries or albums to your Post/Page, so there will be few different galleries on one page.

Thanks, I modified my menus and videos are fine now.

Last small issue, is there a way to directly get to the YT video when I click on the image that has the video link?
When I click on the picture on the gallery, it first opens the image and then I have to click a second time to open the video.

    Thanks

We are working to add this feature in all gallery modules. As for now it is possible in Amron, AlbumsGrid, Phantom, AlbumsStripes modules.
