photo compression not only in the media library?

    Hello. I have installed this plug and Photo Gallery. When I add new photos when creating a gallery in Photo Gallery, the photos are saved in wp-content / uploads / photo-gallery / – from what I look at, the files are not compressed at all. Does Compress JPEG & PNG images only work in the Media Library folder?

    Indeed, our plugin only compresses the photos that are located in the media library. It won’t compress any images located anywhere else.

    even in the paid version? I use the Media Library to a small extent because Photo Gallery has many more options.

    It is the same plugin regardless if you stick to 500 free compressions each month or if you pay for more. In the future we might add the ability to compress not just the images in media library, however I don’t know if or when that will happen. I am sorry for the inconvenience! If you want you can check out the documentation for the API at https://tinypng.com/developers/reference and build your custom solution.
