    Hello everyone.
Thanks in advance for your help.

As you can see from the images uploaded to Dropbox, after upgrading to WP 5.3, frontend works fine BUT wp-admin is showing only TXT and links.

    https://www.dropbox.com/sh/9rz0vd43gabqczp/AAA_fASOgezBaKHmeJfSUf-Ga?dl=0

look @ ishot-1558.jpg is the wp-admin. Seems like CSS are broken. Everything works.

    Theme:
    – dolceclassifieds (premium theme)

    Plugins:
    – AddToAny Share Buttons – Version 1.7.39
    – Akismet Anti-Spam – Version 4.1.3
    – Content Egg – Version 5.0.0
    – WP Product Review Lite – Version 3.7.2
    – WPS Hide Login – Version 1.5.4.2

Tried to deactivate 1 by 1 (plugins) but nothing changed.

    Any Help?

    Thanks,
    bwd

    Hi

Please change your theme to default 2020 and check, it should be a theme problem.

    Howdy!

If this is a live site it may be tricky to test theme switching – it can be done but would need to be done fairly quick as well.

When you say you tried deactivating one by one, did you deactivate all of them at once?

If you are able to get a test site it would be great of course but if you can’t, a possible solution may be putting the site in maintenance mode for a few minutes to get it sorted out.

Let us know if you get this resolved ??

    @farhadvn thanks for your help.
will try that. am just bit worried (maybe what am saying is stupid, but am a newbie) that it will mix things up. should i be relaxed in doing what you suggest or better if i do a backup first? sorry again if have written something stupid.

What do you mean by this?

Nope. I followed a deactivate-refresh-check-activate pattern for every plugin. I deactivated first plugin. Refreshed page. Checked. If no results, i activated 1st plugin, then deactivated 2nd plugin ….and so on.
    As written am a Newbie.
    – Was i supposed to do it in a different way or all @ once as you mentioned?
    – Also, as far as hosting, i have a doubt. Could it be that it needs time to process all changes so the deactivate-refresh-check-activate process cannot be done in less than 2 minutes per each plugin?

putting the site in maintenance mode for a few minutes to get it sorted out.

Newbie here. Never done that. Is procedure simple? any risks?
Also, as you can imagine, never set up a test site….

    Best,

No, changing theme to default cant damage your site, select 2020 theme, clear cache of site and browser, then recheck.

Hey apologies on the late reply back.

What’s neat is there are plugins available for this. You can also simply add a .maintenance file to the root of the site to put it in maintenance mode.

And no, switching themes does nothing, you can always switch back. It’s when a theme decides to create random post types that things go super amazingly exciting that you get your cardio in since your heart races from a slight freak out ??
