Problem Gutenberg and Chrome 78

I installed plugin Classic editor and everything is ok but when i switch to gutenberg i have the problem.

Are you also using Gutenberg plugin?

If so, with the release of WordPress 5.3, only version 6.6 or newer of the Gutenberg plugin is compatible. So, first off, please check update the plugin and all should be good.

No i don’t use gutenberg plugin.

it’s the version with wordpress 5.3, no plugin added.

May i have to install Gutenberg plugin ?

You can if you want. Otherwise you don’t need to.

i can’t add a new post or a new page.
When i try i have a blank page.

A blank white page means that PHP is crashing. This problem can be caused by a variety of issues, including:
(1) Bad theme
(2) Bad plugin
(3) Bad install/upgrade
(4) you exhausted the memory limit
(5) It could also mean that there is an issue with your web hosting server.

1 and 2 are more common (typically due to a function conflict introduced by a plugin or theme).

Since the problem can be caused by any number of things, check the error logs on your server for a more specific error message. If you need help locating them, ask your hosting provider to help you with that.

If you cannot find error logs or if you don’t find any helpful info in them, try Enabling debugging

I think my post was not clear.

My problem is just with “google chrome browser” version 78.

Under chrome i can’t edit or add page or post but it’s working only with classic editor and when i switch to gutenberg i have a blank screen.

With “firefox”, “opera”, “safari” i have no problem to edit or add pages and posts with classic editor and gutenberg.

while if i use the plugin do i extend the core functionality of Gutenberg?

Without plugin, this indicates that the core already uses 6.6 core Gutenberg.
