    hello,
    is it necessary to redirect new product images to the old ones if i am using google merchant center for advertisement?

    Just to understand better your question: do you have a WordPress website with an ecommerce plugin with all your products? and at the same time, you’re uploading all the images in google merchant center for advertisement?

    sorry i replied to the email thinking it would reach you. Yes it’s a WordPress site with woocommerce and I use a plugin to create the correct xml file for merchant center account and it updates when it’s changes. The site is also verified on google. So of course it crawls the site.

    In that case, I don’t think you need to redirect any images, as the XML already has the correct URLs of the images linking to your site.
