• Hello there!
I would like to use the static page setting for my homepage but for some reason I cannot change the default image (that pink graphic).
I would also like to use a different color scheme (same as for cover template) but it doesn’t let me.
Sorry, these are two different issues, Im more than happy if any of you can help me with the first!

Hey @rike55! What happens when you try to remove the homepage featured image (the pink graphic), or change the color scheme in the Customizer? Do you see any errors when trying to do either?

Hi Mel, strangely I cannot do any of that.
There isn’t any option to remove the image, it’s not visible as block or area inside the page (I would send a screenshot but I don’t think it’s possible).
Also I don’t have the option to change the color scheme inside the Costumizer, I can only pick background colors and the color for links and such.

It somehow resolved itself, I was able to remove the image!

Do you see the “Featured Image” accordion in your sidebar? https://cloudup.com/cM90ZvK5p5Y

What colors are you trying to change?

I would like to change the colors of links, buttons, h1 to the same color as my cover template. I can choose the cover template color of the header but for the other colors there is only this small color bar which gives me an extremely limited choice of colors. Makes sense?

Yeah, for that it might be easier to write some custom CSS in the “Additional CSS” panel of the Customizer. Is that something you’d be comfortable doing?

Unfortunately not at all. For now I just did it by changing every button manually. Hopefully there will be more color options in the future. Thanks anyway!!
