How can a child-theme function wo a functions.php file?
-
Not sure HOW this happened but here goes…
Opened the functions.php file for my child-theme (ThemeGrill ColorMag Pro) and the dang thing is empty! It was populated and we have a week-old backup – but not sure if repopulating the functions.php is a wise move until I find out how this thing is still functioning.
Checked the features of the website that were controlled by the functions.php file, everything is functioning as it should – but HOW?
Verified the parent functions.php to be sure nothing was somehow placed in there but it is as generic for this theme as it gets.
So, how is my child-theme still functioning without a populated functions.php file?
I am totally baffled at how this could be possible…
and totally lost at how to find out where the code is sitting.Thoughts? Is this a first or what??
