• Okay – all of a sudden, after a month of it working perfectly, the flash uploader is failing me. When I try to upload a file, wordpress suddenly asks me to log in, then asks “are you sure you want to do that” and it all fails.

    The regular uplaoder works fine.

I know this has something to do with my cookies becuase other users don’t have the problem. This time, however, deleting my cookies didn’t fix it. Seems like something unstable going on. Thoughts?

hmmm… no – the crazy thing is it happens on two machines, three different browsers.

    Hi,

It seems that there is an issue with the file permissions. Assign 766 recursive permissions again to wp-contents folder.

Make sure that there is no change in server side settings.

    Thanks,

    Shane G.

Woah! Dude, negatory. Recursive 766 on the wp-content directory resulted in the entire site showing blank pages on all pages. Very odd. Switched to 755 and the site is back.

Cleared browser cache and problem persists. But it does not persist for other users, it’s specific to me.
