Cart and Checkout not working on mobile devices

Hi,
Everytime we test product checkout on a mobile device, the shopping cart is empty when we ‘View Cart’.
If we clear browser history, the shopping cart is filled but we cannot progress to the checkout page. Upon clicking the Checkout Button, this only causes the cart page to refresh and also empties out all the products in the cart.
The strange thing is these products which disappeared from the cart page are being captured by our cart report.
This problem occurs for all product types.
This problem does not occur on desktop.
