    Hello,
    I try to install a Duplicator-Archiv on a Windows Server 2016.

    I added users IUSR and IUSRS and I deactivated opendir in plesk.
    So on check everything is green.
    But when I click on continue, there comes a 500 error.

    I am really new in this area, but on two old servers everythink worked fine. So what can I do? Are there default-settings in Windows Server 2016 that might cause the problem?

    Hey @emiklei,

    Then opendir command will need to be enabled to use the plugin. You might also have a look at the build log file see Tools > Diagnostics Tab > Log file. Feel free to post the info to our ticket system vs posting online if you are not sure of the messages.

    Hope that helps~

    @corylamleorg: Hello,

    I set open_basedir to none. (When I enable it, I get a red warning when I start installer.php which says I should disable it)

    Where do I find the Log-File you mean (Plesk/ Windows)? In the php logs there are only old logs.

    Hey @emiklei,

    So open_basedir is different than opendir. The log file is not created until the build process starts and should show up in the location mentioned above.

    Thxs~

    Are you able to locate this?

    wp-admin > Duplicator > Tools > Diagnostics Tab

    @corylamleorg:
    No, I can’t reach that area. It hadn`t been created.

    Hey @emiklei,

    If you disable open_basedir and enable opendir, and try a build do you get any results?

    Thread Starter Amarant

    (@emiklei)

    I think opendir is still enabled – I only disabled open_basedir. How could I check this?

    Hey @emiklei,

    See Tool > Diagnostics Tab > PHP info section then search for open_basedir, you can also see the info with this call https://www.php.net/manual/en/function.phpinfo.php

    Open_basedir is ?none“. I can see that in Plesk. But even if i switch this the error occurs.
