• Hello. I recently deleted a language from the “languages” settings page. I did it just to delete the language from the menu. However, all the translations pages that I had created now seem to have been deleted. I’m shocked, but well, what can you do. But, is there a way to recover those?

    Hello,

Polylang *never* deletes your content, even if you delete a language. When you delete a language, all Polylang does is to remove the language assigned to your content. That means however that the content, now without language, is not visible on frontend. However, your pages are still accessible on admin side, provided that you select “All languages” in the admin language filter visible in your admin toolbar. You can then assign an existing language to your pages without language: https://polylang.pro/doc/assign-a-language-to-an-existing-content/

Thank you, this is very good news, I think. I can’t find the pages anywhere. When I go to my “pages” admin panel, and open the “screen options,” and select the language of the pages that are missing, they don’t show. There is a list of my pages, with two columns to the right for the languages, and for the language I’m missing, under that flag at the top of the column, there is a column of + buttons. For the other language there is a column of Pencil icons, for “edit.”

They were there, before I deleted the language from the “languages” settings page. Now, ?
