    I’m having an issue with Yoast that I’ve noticed within the last several days (though I’m not certain the day it began). The ‘Yoast SEO Analysis’ at the bottom of each post just spins and spins and all of the ‘SEO Title’ boxes are suddenly blank/empty.

    Also, the ‘link insertion search’ feature isn’t working either. It just spins and spins as well.

    The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

  • I am also having this issue since updating the plugin to 12.6.2

    This is in the console on the page:

    We’re sorry that you are experiencing problems that might be caused by our plugin!

    Just to be sure, we would like to rule out any plugin or theme conflicts that may occur. The fastest way to do this is to?deactivate all non-Yoast plugins and switch to a standard theme?like?Twenty Nineteen.?

    Test this on your development or staging site, if you have one. If not, we recommend using the?Health Check & Troubleshooting?plugin. This plugin allows you to run a conflict check?without affecting normal visitors to your site.

    As we can imagine that you’re unfamiliar with checking for conflicts, we’d like to point you to a step-by-step guide that will walk you through the process:?How to check for plugin conflicts.

    Having the same issue – and yes, it is the classic editor plugin that is causing the issue. Disabling it, hwever, did not restore all the SEO settings/ data lost. All page titles & meta descriptions are gone.

    I can confirm that sarahjul is correct and the issue is with classic editor being active.

    Sorry i am mistaken, i still get the issue

    @blitzmr2
    We would like some more information.

    1. Can you confirm you are using the most recent Yoast SEO, v12.7? If you update, does the issue resolve? This guide explains more about how to update: https://kb.yoast.com/kb/how-can-i-update-my-premium-plugin/.

    2. Are you using a pagebuilder like WPBakery, Salient Pagebuilder, Elementor, SiteOrigin or Divi etc. to create pages?

    3. If you check for JavaScript errors do any appear on that page in the backend? Can you describe them or take a screenshot? If you are not sure how to look for JavaScript errors please use this guide: https://kb.yoast.com/article/321-how-to-find-javascript-errors-with-your-browsers-console.

    4. Are all your non-Yoast plugins and themes also updated?

    @daviddigitl @sarahjul

    I have disabled all plugins and switched to the TwentyTwenty theme and am still having the issue (which I am working with premium support on, for the record; just sharing my experience here in hopes that it may help others).

    I do have the Classic Editor but it has not been active for months.

    The issue does remain with 12.7.

    I am using Elementor but again, it persists even when deactivated.

    I hope this has NOT deleted all meta descriptions as I have approaching four thousand posts on the site and that would be a massive loss and very, very concerning for me as a business owner.

    I am having the same issue on 2 sites. Issue persists with changing theme to 2020, disabling plugins, etc… Console error shows: TypeError: /wp-content/plugins/wordpress-seo/js/dist/wp-seo-analysis-worker-1270.min.js is not a valid URL. Does yours show same erroor @blitzmr2 ? All seo settings are gone.

    Disabling classic editor helped it at least showo the fields, but still spinning yellow circles, and nothing i enter saves, and all previous settings are gone.
