Imagify considering wrong image size version to limit its use!

    I have a 2048×2079, 1,03 MB size PNG image.
    When I upload it, Imagify shows in Media Library:

    File size must be under 2.0 MB. Current file size is 3.2 MB

    Well, as I said, the original image has only 1,03 MB, not 3,2 MB.

    It seems Imagify is considering the new “-scaled” image version created recently by the new WordPress version.

    How to solve this?

    I discovered that this is because WP has introduced a “-scaled” version of images, which is causing a lot of nightmares to many people.
    And as I described here, WP is creating PNG images with smaller dimensions but with 3x larger space.
    A WP BUG.
