Googlebot whitelisting out of the box?

    one question:

    I found the option:
    “Custom bots
    You can add the user agent string of any bots that are not automatically picked up”

    Do i have to submit the googlebot here ore is the googlebot whitelisted anyways out of the box?

    Ref. the google search console it should work. But if i test my website with the google pagespeed tool it does not work. So here the crawler sees the age gate.
