recaptcha always return error as spam

I’m no help, but I’m having the same problem

I installed https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/wpcf7-recaptcha/ and use ReCaptcha v2

@mstudioil – using Contact Form 7 – reCaptcha v2, in addition to Contact Form 7, is a viable way to keep using reCaptcha v2 in Contact Form 7.

Once installed and configured it offers the same reCaptcha functionality you are used to in previous versions of Contact Form 7 (recommended by CF7 plugin author).

Alternatively you can switch to reCAPTCHA v3 by following the instructions at reCAPTCHA v3.

CF7 updated to from reCAPTCHA v2 reCAPTCHA v3 some time ago.

The error you noticed was possibly due to you not setting up the Google reCAPTCHA v3 integration correctly.

I see you found a solution by using the Contact Form 7 – reCaptcha v2 plugin, which is perfectly fine to use.

If you want you should be able to also use reCAPTCHA v3, by following the instructions at reCAPTCHA v3 – millions of CF7 users are now using reCAPTCHA v3.

I hope that is now clearer for you.

I used the right V3 keys.

If you register correctly for reCAPTCHA v3 & it’s working, you should see the reCAPTCHA Privacy badge displayed at the bottom of every page on your site (not just the pages where you’ve got CF7 forms).

If the reCAPTCHA badge is not showing, this shows that reCAPTCHA v3 is not working on your site.

I did see the badge, but it is not working.

@buzztone it is just not working with V3.
I check the console and having
Uncaught ReferenceError: grecaptcha is not defined error

That error indicates Google reCAPTCHA is not set up correctly or not working for some other reason.

Switch temporarily (nothing will be lost when you switch back) to a WP default theme & disable all plugins other than Contact Form 7 to see if the problem goes away.

If it does you can switch back to your theme & re-activate each plugin one by one to see when the problem occurs.

Also disable temporarily any JS caching & optimiztion if you have that enabled.

I don’t need to change to default theme, it happen also on other themes and site with different page builders, I don’t use any JS caching & optimization
It was working before the last update.
I using Elementor and it form don’t have that problem
