    Greetings,

    We know this is an off topic question here but we couldn’t find other way to reach you. We are new to plugins publishing on www.ads-software.com. Would you mind giving some tips on promoting our plugin or how it was possible for you to reach sudden hike in this plugin downloads on Nov 22.

    Your thoughts would help us a lot..

    Yes this question is off topic but I will give a reply ??

    Would you mind giving some tips on promoting our plugin or how it was possible for you to reach sudden hike in this plugin downloads on Nov 22.

    The download spike was produce when we released a new version. Since there are over 100,000 active installations, it makes sense to see spikes of that caliber.

    In regards to promoting your product. If I where you I would concentrate in making sure your plugin always works well with the current WordPress version, WordPress default themes and is compatible with some of the major plugins in the repository. Always make sure the code is clean and following WordPress guidelines and coding practices. Monitor the support forum by replying regularly to questions, issue users run into.

    Apart from the above, only time will tell if the WordPress community are interested in your product or not.
