CleanTalk’s Security authorization code is not sending.
I installed the cleantalk security and now when I try and login into the backend of the admin it will not let me. It shows CleanTalk’s Security authorization code Please, check your email to get code. If you have not received the e-mail, please, check “spam” folder.

However, we never get any email. So we are now locked out of our website. Please help.

    Hello, @trion151.

Please, use this guide (bottom part):
    https://cleantalk.org/help/two-factor-auth

    Did it help?

I am also locked out after installing the security plug in. I have already sent a ticket without any response from you. This is frustrating. I want to remove the damn thing/

    Please, do the following:
    1. Log in to your Hosting Account.
    2. Locate the folder of your website.
    3. Delete the security plugin folder “security-malware-firewall” here:
    <WordPress-root-folder>/wp-content/plugins/security-malware-firewall

    Did it help?

I have the same issue as @trion151 and @discorus.

The resolutions presented don’t work for me because I have to get into my website to activate the ‘dual’ option …and Cleantalk is not sending the code to my email. I receive all daily and weekly notices and can login to my dashboard (sadly there is no option there to be sent the code).

The hosting account option doesn’t work since it logins into my website first before I can ‘manage’ anything … so stuck in same scenario.

@trion151 – could you indicate what you did to get past this?

    Hello, @kwish

Please, use this guide to disable two-factor authorisation from CleanTalk Dashboard:
    https://cleantalk.org/help/two-factor-authentication

    Did it help?

    No.

I have to get into my website to do that.

Cleantalk is blocking me. – “Security authorization code needed”

And I’m not getting the authorization code via email to get past their screen.

I’ve had to whitelist myself because Cleantalk is seeing me try to login too many times.

    Hello.

You don’t need to go into your website to disable this option. This option may be disabled from CleanTalk Dashboard.

    1. Enter your CleanTalk Dashboard and go to your profile page https://cleantalk.org/my/profile#profile_options:

    2. Scroll down to special 2FA block and uncheck the checkbox: Two factor authorization.

    3. Save settings.

I did try the 2-factor id in cleantalk, but it said my password was incorrect/timedout.

I reset the password and turned off 2-factor.

And still locked out of website.

Yes, I realize that and already undid 2FA on the cleantalk dashboard.

However, it didn’t help me get past the “Security authorization code needed” screen on My Website from cleantalk.

I’ve entered my website admin info and cleantalk then blocks me from getting into my website.

You have to wait 10-15 before changes take effect.

If the issue persists, please create a topic in our support system:
    https://cleantalk.org/my/support/open

In this way we’ll know your website and can check everything that is required.

Okay, I’ll check again in 15 and then proceed.

    Thank you.
