How to remove meta data added by Site Kit

    Hello,

    How can I remove these metadata being added by SiteKit & AMP plugin?

    <meta name="generator" content="Site Kit by Google 1.1.2">
<meta name="amp-google-client-id-api" content="googleanalytics">
<meta name="generator" content="AMP Plugin v1.4.1; mode=standard; experiences=website">

    I am hoping if there is any code I could add to functions.php file to remove these?

  • @luckyankit regarding the Site Kit meta tag, we have this Github issue open to provide a way for that. Please feel free to follow it.

    For the last AMP meta tag, you might find this topic from the AMP support forums helpful.

    The second is part of the AMP session unification (AMP Client ID/ AMP linker ) configuration so shouldn’t be removed.

    Ultimately, these tags are helpful for us to know if you’re using the plugin and which version/ mode especially for support.
