    Can you have, say, a two column table and on row 3 you want to combine the two cells (c1,r3) ans (c2, r3) to make one large cell the width of both columns?

    All the other rows have the usual two cells

    Yes, that’s no problem. Just use the “colspan” button below the table input fields for this.
