Venue Picker

Hi Guys, I’ve just started using Events Calendar, and although in my first event I could choose and edit the venue, when I entered my next event at a different venue, I could select the Venue picker.
I tried adding venues hoping that would trigger a drop down, but I still can’t see how to add the venue on this event.
Can you help please?
