Image captions out of alignment

all of a sudden all my images are aligned centre – now suddnely ( its new ) all the captions are aligned to the left and some cant be read as a result.

The only thing that has changed is wordpress has been automatically updated recently now sitting at version 5.3.2 running simplyeasy theme. the problem is affecting all my posts, and all formats ( pc, or phone)

I have seen this issued mentioned several times in my search for a fix, but alas the fixes offered seem to be for a different theme and suggesting messing with some kinda code ?CCS way way above my level of knowledge!

is this a result of and upgrade?
