I have two categories of products on my site (clothing and vinyl). I configured flexible shipping so that it calculates the shipping costs according to the weight and a country. The calculation in the cart works fine for products in the “clothing” category but the shipping costs are not added when you multiply the “vinyl” products in the cart. Even if I have 10 vinyls in the cart, the shipping costs remain at the lowest (my first level). I don’t understand where the problem comes from.
    Thank you

    Hello @warisaac33,

As I understand, you created a couple of different methods with rules for your categories: clothing and vinyl. That’s right? Could you please let me know did you tried to create rules by our docs? You can check the example here: https://docs.flexibleshipping.com/article/32-weight-based-shipping-woocommerce

If you still experience any problems. Please send us the screenshots of your methods with rules. It will help us to resolve your issue faster.

    Best regards,
    Marta

I created a couple of different methods with rules based on the weight and the shipping address, these rules are applied for all categories (clothing et vinyls). In the cart, the calculation works fine for products in the “Clothing ? category, but not for the products in the ? vinyls ? category.
I confirm you that I tried to create rules by your docs.
I gave you a detailed explanation on PDF in attachment.
    Thanks for your help.

    Hi @warisaac33,

Could you please post your shipping rules setup here once more since it looks like it wasn’t added properly?

    Hi @warisaac33,

Thank you for sharing your shipping setup – it looks correct. I suppose the problem might be related to the products settings. Please make sure you haven’t ticked this checbox on product’s configuration screen:

When I tried to add more than one vinyl to the cart at your shop I got this notice:

    https://wpdesk.me/ls/QVTaOvSZI8.png

So it looks like only the 4.95 € shipping cost is being added because WooCommerce recognizes it as a 1 item.

    Kind regards,

    Hi,
I have already tried unchecking the individual sale option but that does not change anything.
You can try with this product in the cart : HERE
    Regards.

Hi, I have the similar problem, my flexible shipping plugin calculates the shipping costs according to the weigh. Everything works fine, when I have just one product (different quantities) in the shopping cart, but when I add another product calculation does not work properly, it just cumulated the wight of the last product in the basket.

The plugin seems to have many problems that the dev team can’t solve (I spent too much time asking and waiting the developer answers without any solution since many weeks)… I’m afraid we have to find another shipping plugin wich really works.

    Hi @wpaluch,

can you upload screenshots of the shipping method settings? If you have more methods and shipping zones, such screens will also be useful. What WooCommerce version do you have installed?

@warisaac33 unfortunately, I don’t see where the problem is yet. We’ve done a lot of tests and everything works fine. Something in your store must affect that it is not working properly. If you have a test environment to which we would have access, please contact us directly [email protected]

Hi @jablonowski, I am using WordPress 4.8.12 screenshots in the link below.

    Hi,
for the others who would have the same problem as me with the plugin, I found a temporary but functional solution. The plugin seems to not work properly for simple products (my case), so I turned them into variable products (with only 1 attribute, hidden in front), and there the cumulative shipping costs in the cart works. But it still remains a fault of the plugin.

    Hi @warisaac33,

As Piotr has mentioned before the problem is we are not able to replicate the problem you’ve described in our test environment. It looks like some of the other plugins you are currently using in your shop might be influencing the way the shipping cost is calculated.

Have you tried deactivating all the plugins apart from WooCommerce and Flexible Shipping and checking if the problem still occurs? It should give the clear answer if it is the Flexible Shipping fault or something else is messing around.

Please let us know about your findings.

    Kind regards,
    ?ukasz
