Upload failed / Images available in folder / only some images showing in plugin

    Hello,

    I have the following issue:

    I have created a gallery and uploaded images directly from my computer (Add Images -> Upload Files). I tried to upload around 650 images. At the end I got quite a few “Upload failed” messages for some images. After the upload is finished I see a total of 500 images in the window.

    However, when I enter the folder where I upload the images (wp-content/uploads/photo-gallery) in my file manager, all 650 images are there. Only, if I try to add them from WordPress, I only see 500 of those images. So it seems to me Photo Gallery is randomly “hiding” part of the uploaded pictures when I try to upload them in a gallery.

    Do you have any idea what might be causing this issue?

    Sorry for the belated response.

    Would you please try uploading fewer images?
    Try uploading half of the images you attempted to earlier.

    The issue might be caused by the max execution time set by your hosting.
