Since I was suggested and sent here from different forum section I will just copy and paste my problem.

I have noticed in SE ranking that for few certain URLs the LAST trailing slash of an url one day the url changes and it disappears and then the next day the url changes again and it reappears. For example on 20th DEC it changed to https://www.domain.com/page-page/page and the next day it changed to https://www.domain.com/page-page/page/.

Does anyone have an idea why is that and where should I look to begin fixing this?

    Thank for any reply!”

I’m not sure that’s directly related to Yoast SEO plugin.

Did you check canonical into HTML source?
    What’s the permalink settings?
Do you have installed caching plugin? If so, which plugin?

I got suggested to post here by an admin.

    1. Yes, I have and everything seems to be fine there.
    2. Permalink structure is post-type/custom – /%category%/%postname%/
    3. I use Cloudflare cache plugin.

If the canonical is correct then it’s most likely issue somewhere else.

Did you try to visit pages (try it in private window when you aren’t logged) without trailing slash?

All these URLs should be redirected to proper URL with trailing slash. If it isn’t case then it’s probably related to WP core or caching plugin. Do you use WP caching plugin (as WP Super Cache, W3TC, WP Rocket, …)? Cloudflare is “only proxy” and I think that isn’t culprit.

Yes, tried and it shows correctly, but our SEO rankings software is showing that it changes almost every day, the end trailing slash disappears then next day it appears.

There is Breeze plugin that is being used.

I don’t have experience with Breeze plugin. Maybe it could be source. You didn’t fully answer on the question about the redirection.

Please use “private mode” or new browser (don’t login on WP dashboard). Try to access couple pages to force caching. After it, try to remove trailing slash in address bar and get this page. Do you see 301 redirect to page with trailing slash? You can use some online tool to check it. Related that you didn’t provide URL I can’t tell anything more.
