Assigning permalink/item url to post from source
-
I love your product and I’ve had no issues with its operation. I am wondering if you can help me optimize something or tell me if what I want to do is possible with your product.
Currently this is how my site works:
I am designing a website that pulls content from youtube using your product. I have the the posts created by feedzy displaying as thumbnails in a “gallery” format under their respective heading on my homepage. You click the thumbnail in the gallery and it brings you to the post. The post contains the “item url” which is linked to the “read more” button at the bottom of the post. When you click “read more” at the bottom of the post you go to the youtube video. Everything works correctly.
What I would like to do:
Instead of accessing the youtube video by clicking the “read more” button at the bottom of the post, I would like to access the youtube video by clicking the thumbnail image displayed under the category on the homepage. This would potentially eliminate an extra click and get the reader to the actual content faster. Is there a way for feedzy to automatically assign the permalink to the post from which it was pulled from? Or a way to assign the “item url” to both the “item title” and “item image” so that when the thumbnail is clicked you go straight to the content on youtube instead of going to the post and then clicking another button to take you to the content on youtube?
Thanks for any help in advance you can provide.
