Yes. The auto backup will run as long as you have the “Auto-backup before updating” option checked in the plugin settings.

Thats excellent, will try it out! One issue I have noticed is that update for pro plugin was not appear in managewp or mainwp?

At this moment, we are working on the development of our MainWP extension for supporting the pro version, and it will be released soon. After that, you can update pro version for all child sites from MainWP dashboard.

Sorry I just commented on this on another thread. I have updated everything to latest plugins etc. The pro feature which should backup before updates does not appear to work, I’m using mainWP on local by flywheel.

Ps love this plugin, looking forward to you implementing the suggestions I made before.

Sorry that I think I’d misunderstood your query and gave you the wrong information. I thought you were just asking about the update of MainWP plugin.

In the current version of the plugin, a backup will not be created when plugins/themes are updated through MainWP dashboard. It will only happen when the update is done through an individual site.

We will consider adding this feature later.

We still have some previously-scheduled development jobs to to do at this moment, such as incremental backups and white label, but the features you’ve suggested are on our to-do list.

Yes that’s exactly what I meant, that would be a updraft killer feature for sure.

Keep up the great work, looking forward to see how the plugin develops. Is there a roadmap in place at all for example in trello? No worries if not.

Just want to perfect the plugin to the extreme at this moment.
