theme customization problem

I’m still in the process of setting up my site, so there’s no content to speak of.

This link is to my blog page, and it has been moved over to a box on the right side of the screen. If clicked on, it opens out into a blog page. But how do I set it back to open that way to begin with?

Someone said this was about theme customization, so that’s how I’m reporting it, but I honestly don’t know. My theme is Write and Read.

I replaced the front page of the theme with an uploaded pic of my own, and changed the background color to match. Did this create a problem? Help?
