Comments not showing after “import complete” message

    Hello,

    I was able to successfully export the blog comments from another page and now I want them to show on this new page that I created, since the blog articles are the same. After importing the file that was exported from the first page to the new one, I get a message that says:”step 1…step 2… step 3… Finalizing. Finished. Import Complete.” But no comments appear on the blog entries. The title and the permalinks are the same on all the articles of the new and old website. Why are the comments not showing on the new website? Thanks.

    Hi @juanpablobierzoseo,

    Kindly make sure that the post ID specified in the comment_post_ID column is valid and correct. You may please provide the ID of the post to which you wish to import comments in the comment_post_ID column.

    Hi,

    the column name for comment_post_ID is comment_post_ID, what should I write instead? Also, where can I find the post ID?

    You may please provide the ID of the post to which you wish to import the comment in the comment_post_ID column. You can find the post ID on the post edit page as shown here.

    Hello and thanks for the reply,

    what if I wish to import comments to several posts at the same time? Let’s suppose the post IDs are 1,2,3,4, and 5. Should I just write out 1,2,3,4,5 on the comment_post_ID column?
