missing expire headers?

    gtmetrix PS and Yslow both warn about missing cache expire headers

    along with FVM, i’m also using the suggested Cache Control plug – i don’t know which one is supposed to be adding these headers

    in the browser developer tools cache tab, i’m seeing:
    Expires 2/7/2106 6:28:15 AM
    i have CC set to ‘0’ – never expire
    and in the response header i’m seeing for cached files:
    Cache-Control max-age=0

    so why does gtmetrix complain about missing expire headers?

    Expire headers is a server configuration, so you must be doing something wrong or forgot to reload the cache on the server, or you have something else setting wrong expire headers (a reverse proxy for example).

    You seemed to have fixed later, because the Leverage browser caching I’m seeing for your site is for third party resources only.

    You have no control over resources loading from other domains.
