Happy new year! ^^ But question over questions…

    1. How is it possible that the scan of cookiebot does not find the statistics plugin Count per day?
I’m surprised that the scan of cookiebot was so unsuccessful.
Have a look at the list of plugins (screenshot) and the scan only finds cookies from Cokiebot? Something is wrong, isn’t it?

    2. Also, the images no longer load. First they are shown, then I accept the cookies, I change the page and then return to the start page and – the pictures load and load and load.

    3. I still did’nt understand where I actually embed the script from the banner on the post page. I have put it now in a widget, because I’ve no idea where to insert it?

    Help, pls.

    BB, Jay

    Hi Jay,

    Happy New Year!

    1. I’m not sure how the plugin tracks views, but it doesn’t seem to set client side trackers. The scanner crawled all 175 pages without finding anything and I just double checked by browsing the website. There seem to be no cookies in use at all.
    2. The images fail to load because the of an error. This is caused by the Cookiebot script being loaded twice.
    3. You shouldn’t implement the script using a widget when you use the plugin, this will cause errors or unexpected behavior at least (see previous).
I can see on the page the script is indeed implemented twice, and it does cause the jQuery script to not load. I suggest removing the script implemented by the widget.

    Hi Richard,

    thanks for answering.
I ‘ve now added the script to the header.php and deleted it from the widget. It works so far. I didn’t find the widget solution very gallant anyway.
I’m surprised that this page doesn’t use cookies. As already written, Count per Day is a statistics plugin. Hmm…

    I hope we won’t get into trouble…
