Change what Image is posted

  • Hi.

    Thank you for the plug-in.

    It works well for me, but I have a question, how may I get the tweeted image to be the same one as the ‘Featured Image’ in my post?

    At present the tweet includes the first image in the post (which is not the featured one).

  • If you set attach image to twitter to yes then the plugin will fetch the featured image first,and if no featured image is set then only it will attach the first image from the post content.
    WP Twitter Auto Publish uses the built in WordPress function for fetching the featured image.
    If you are using any front end posting plugin or custom post type,then the featured image may not be available at the time of auto posting.
    If you are sharing the post link to twitter then please set the required image in twitter card.
