Please critique my site

Okay guys, so I have been playing with a blog and forum over the past couple of weeks. I feel like I finally have the look and feel where I want it, and am going to start working on content.

The blog is for a very niche market product, called Control4. It is a home automation system, and I don’t anticipate a ton of people on this forum will be familiar with it.

Essentially what I am saying is the content is just thrown up take up space right now, so I am not looking for any advice on that, just the layout of the site in general.

I have a friend of mine working on making the forum theme the same width as the blog theme, hopefully that will be done soon.

Other than that, any suggestions?

I hope to get it all tweaked and working right before the weekend and start promoting it to the Control4 community next week.
