Deleted certificates being displayed

  • I am using the display certificates module on my site. I noticed that it is displaying certificates that I created for test reasons and have since deleted. Can the plugin only display certificates for active/existing courses?

    I’m really sorry about the delay here.

    We ran some test cases internally and couldn’t reproduce the behaviour. We created a new certificate and then had it awarded to our test user. We put the certificate in the trash and the certificate was removed from the widget. We then deleted it permanently and it still didn’t show up in the widget.

    Are you able to confirm whether you’re using the widget vs. shortcode, and are you absolutely sure the certificate listed is the one that was deleted? And was it permanently deleted, not set to draft, trashed, anything like that.

    Here is exactly what I did:
    – Created a test certificate and attached it to a quiz.
    – Took the quiz a couple of times to test the certificate process.
    – All the certificates earned are viewed in my-account page through shortcode.
    – I deleted the test certificate.
    – All instanced of earned test certificates still show in my-account.
    – Only way to delete these was to delete all of my user course history.
