Removing “noindex, nofollow” from my account page

Yes I saw it but I’m afraid this code will remove noindex from cart and checkout page also?

Let’s see if that works first. If it does, we can modify it so it only affects the account page and not the cart and checkout ones.

I tired Austin’s code first since another person confirmed that it works but it did not do anything for me so I tired Mike’s code and that also did not work. Any idea why?

Just to clarify I did add this code to function.php file.

I took a look at this again just now and couldn’t remove it either. Then I remembered my development site is set to discourage search engines so every page was set to noindex.

I turned that off and then worked with the snippets from the other thread a bit. This one works for me.

function ijab_account_noindex(){
	if ( is_page( get_option('woocommerce_myaccount_page_id') ) ) {
		remove_action( 'wp_head', 'wc_page_noindex' );
	}
}
add_action( 'template_redirect', 'ijab_account_noindex' );

It leaves the noindex on the cart and checkout but removes it on the account page.

See if that works for you.
