    Sorry, I can’t give you a link as the website is currently hidden (in development).

    I am delighted to have found your plugin having tried about 10! It is perfect in every way apart from this:

    I cannot work out how to make the area behind the lightbox a dark colour so that the originating website page or post does not show through. Once you select full screen view it is perfect as it then has a nice dark background and nothing else. Is there a way to either (ideally) display the lightbox against a dark background without having to go to full-screen mode, or if not, maybe to default to going straight to full screen?

    Thanks very much.

    Hello,
    Edit post/page ->
    -> select gallery and go to Block Settings Panel
    -> Lightbox Settings (drop down panel)
    -> Lightbox background color (Color picker)
    -> Change color and alpha
    Update post/page

    Many thanks indeed. I did try (before writing) changing that option to black, but one can still see the website page behind which is why I thought I must have it wrong. Maybe it is the opacity that is causing the problem? Not to worry but thanks – I think I will just revert to the standard WP gallery and add a lightbox separately. Thanks again for your help.

    It’s just that in my plugin, most of the color settings have the transparency property (Alpha channel). Perhaps this led You in confusion. But adjusting the transparency of the color is more options for customization.

    Good luck )
